Someone fortunate enough to attend a screening of Bruce Campbell’s horror comedy opus MY NAME IS BRUCE at the CineVegas Film Festival recently relayed some rather distressing news to AICN – during the Q & A following the screening, Campbell mentioned that he’s currently not involved in BUBBA NOSFERATU AND THE CURSE OF THE SHE-VAMPIRES, the sequel to Don Coscarelli’s cult horror comedy gem BUBBA HO-TEP. This, of course, begs the question, say whaaaaaa??? Did Coscarelli and Campbell have some kinda falling out? Or is Coscarelli so early in pre-production that he hasn’t bothered to touch base with The Bruce? To borrow timeless colloquial parlance, what the goddamn dealio?
