Tea Leoni has signed on to co-star with Ricky Gervais and Greg Kinnear in the upcoming comedy GHOST TOWN. David Koepp, who was the winner in the INDIANA JONES 4 script sweepstakes, will write and direct the film for DreamWorks. In the film, Gervais will play a dentist who finds he can see the dead. He is approached by a ghost (Kinnear) who wants him to break up the impending marriage of his former love (Leoni). Normally it’d all sound a little twee for me, but I’d love to see what Gervais can do within the confines of the romantic comedy genre. NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM was absolutely abhorrent but Gervais’ scenes were the only ones that even momentarily made me crack a smile. Leoni can be seen later this month with Luke Wilson in the indie film YOU KILL ME. Filming on GHOST TOWN is expected to begin this October in New York.
