If there’s anyone out there who knows something about marrying a millionaire, it’s Nicole Kidman. She snagged the ultimate Hollywood millionaire in Tom Cruise. Perhaps that real life experience will come in handy as she works with Fox on remaking the 1953 comedy HOW TO MARRY A MILLIONAIRE. That film starred Marilyn Monroe, Lauren Bacall and Betty Grable as three models who are tired of cheap dates and set their targets on three millionaires. But of course love gets in the way as they wind up falling for guys who aren’t exactly breaking the bank. Sacha Gervasi (THE TERMINAL) is writing the contemporized script, which would reportedly be a complete overhaul of the original story (so then why bother to do a remake??…). Kidman can be seen later this year in THE INVASION and THE GOLDEN COMPASS and is currently filming AUSTRALIA with Hugh Jackman.
