Wolverine casting call

JoBloJoBlo

Ladies and gentlemen, sharpen your mandibles and get your adamantium claws buffed, because apparently casting for the new WOLVERINE spin-off has begun. A source over at Superherohype.com claims to have received the first casting call for the Hugh Jackman-starring flick, and it goes a little something like this:

Casting FEATURE FILM “X-Men – Wolverine” w/Hugh Jackman
Seeking:
[Males and Females] all ages and types… Having a DEMO REEL is a HUGE PLUS. Kindly read the Plot Summary to get ideas…
Submission Deadline: 08-30-2007 – For More info on this, Register by clicking: HERE NOW!

They’re seeking males AND females?! Whoa! Can someone say blockbuster?! But seriously, I chose to post this because it feels like the first bit of confirmation that this thing is actually happening, and a whole two hours of Wolverine is worth getting excited about. David Benioff has written the script, and a director has yet to be announced, but me thinks this a sign that they’re close. Keep your claws crossed.
