Bay heads to Persia?

JoBloJoBlo

My man Robert Sanchez over at IESB.net is reporting that Michael Bay will reunite with super-duper-producer Jerry Bruckheimer to direct the upcoming Disney flick PRINCE OF PERSIA. Bruckheimer and Disney have been developing the adaptation of the popular video game and Bruckheimer was able to convince Bay to direct. Bay was recently attached to direct 2012 but it would appear that will take a backseat as Bay works Persia into his schedule as his next film. Bay and Bruckheimer previously collaborated on THE ROCK, ARMAGEDDON, PEARL HARBOR and the BAD BOYS movies. While Bay has worked for the Disney under the Touchstone company, PERSIA would be his first film that would actually be released by Disney Pictures. Bay is obviously hard at work getting TRANSFORMERS ready for release and hopefully digitally erasing . Bruckheimer has another epic production for Disney, PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN: AT WORLD’S END, ready for release this summer.
