Narnia 3 director?

JoBloJoBlo

The Voyage of the Dawn Treader Like Lionsgate and the SAW franchise, Disney is wasting no time making sure they milk every last penny of that crazy CHRONICLES OF NARNIA money. According to NarniaWeb, Disney’s already assigned a director to the third cinematic installment in the C.S. Lewis fantasy series, THE VOYAGE OF THE DAWN TREADER, and while cattle prods to the testicles failed to elicit a name for said director from NarniaWeb’s source, we do know that it won’t be THE LION, THE WITCH AND THE WARDROBE and PRINCE CASPIAN helmer Andrew Adamson. The source did reveal, however, that pre-production is already underway on DAWN TREADER. The story, it seems, takes place across several vastly different Narnian islands so scouting is being done to find suitable locations. In this installment, however, Lewis shaved the excess Pevensie fat and left only Lucy and Edmond roaming the islands of Narnia with Prince Caspian. Speaking of which, the film in which he takes center stage, which is currently filming, is slated for release May 16th, 2008.
