Swank gets Intimate

JoBloJoBlo

Hilary Swank, fresh off teaching inner-city kids about poetry and getting ready to save the world from a biblical plague, will star in and produce a remake of INTIMATE STRANGERS for Paramount. The French film, which was released by Paramount Classics in 2004, follows a woman who mistakenly believes an accountant is her psychiatrist. He is intrigued when she starts spilling intimate details about her life and is unable to come clean. Multiple sessions later they form an odd bond. It’s a movie the New York Daily News said has all the elements of a top-notch thriller…except for a thrill. I’m expecting Kelly Fremon, who will adapt the American script, will add some new thrills into Swank’s version. Swank recently wrapped PS, I LOVE YOU with Gerard Butler for Warner Bros while her ex-husband is busy plotting a government coup on “24”.
