This is a sentence I could have typed a hundred times by now since I started writing for JoBlo.com but…Rob Schneider has signed on to join Adam Sandler in his latest comedy. Schneider will co-star with Sandler in YOU DON’T MESS WITH THE ZOHAN, Sandler’s character-based comedy that will start filming this June. Sandler wrote the script with Judd Apatow (THE 40-YEAR-OLD VIRGIN) and Robert Smigel (“Triumph the Insult Comic Dog”) about a Mossad agent who fakes his death to fulfill his dream as a NYC hairdresser. Schneider will play a cab driver in the film. No word yet on whether he’ll manage to fit in his “You can do it!” Sandler catchphrase. Sandler’s 2007 summer flick is I NOW PRONOUNCE YOU CHUCK AND LARRY with Jessica Biel and Kevin James and ZOHAN would be his big 2008 summer flick. Sandler can be seen next in the Mike Binder drama REIGN OVER ME, in theaters next Friday.
