Beastiality in Park City?

JoBloJoBlo

I haven’t been following the Sundance schedule as closely as I should be and, as such, I just found out today about an interesting documentary titled ZOO. It’s a documentary that follows the story of a 45-year-old Seattle man who died after engaging in a sex act with a horse. That’s putting in nicely. More specifically the autopsy report listed a perforated colon, which he received after…you know. Even more shocking is that the farm on which this happened was a haven for this type of activity and the acts were frequently videotaped. ZOO follows the story of that man and the aftermath of the story, including talks with his family, the police, local reporters and others. There is no “horse sex” in the movie but there are interviews with two of the man’s friends and one accomplice who drove him to the hospital after the incident. It will also focus on how Washington state didn’t have any laws against beastiality prior to this incident, which allowed this particular farm to become infamous in chat rooms for this kind of stuff. THINKFilm is distributing the doc, but no word on when it will make its way out of Sundance. We’ll have full coverage from Sundance (and hopefully of this movie as well), which begins tomorrow in Park City, Utah.
