I don’t have too many
favorite Christmas movies, but whenever THE GRINCH WHO STOLE
CHRISTMAS (the original cartoon, not the crappy live-action remake)
is on the tube, I’ll drop whatever I’m doing and watch that stuff.
Same goes for HOME ALONE, LONG KISS GOODNIGHT (there’s snow in the
film) and Chevy Chase’s CHRISTMAS VACATION. This might’ve been the
last good movie that Chase did, and I’m sure the fact that the great
John Hughes penned that stuff, had something to do with it. So along
our own Jim Law’s
awesome TEN SPOT countdown dedicated to CHRISTMAS VACATION,
check out those awesome folks behind the 30-second Bunny
re-creations as they hit CHRISTMAS
VACATION this year.
Clark Griswold: “Where
do you think you’re going? Nobody’s leaving. Nobody’s walking out on
this fun, old-fashioned family Christmas. No, no. We’re all in this
together. This is a full-blown, four-alarm holiday emergency here.
We’re gonna press on, and we’re gonna have the hap, hap, happiest
Christmas since Bing Crosby tap-danced with Danny f*cking Kaye. And
when Santa squeezes his fat white ass down that chimney tonight,
he’s gonna find the jolliest bunch of assholes this side of the
nuthouse.”
