A Vigilante Olivia Wilde Sarah Daggar-Nickson

While watching the trailer for writer/director Sarah Daggar-Nickson's revenge thriller A VIGILANTE, I wasn't sure exactly whose ass the character played by Olivia Wilde was out to kick, but it came became very clear that I would not want to be on the receiving end of this woman's wrath.

As turns out, Wilde's character has plenty of targets to choose from in the world, but I would be safe from her because I'm not an abusive douchebag. A VIGILANTE is about

a once-abused woman who devotes herself to ridding victims of their domestic abusers.

Wilde is joined in the cast by Morgan Spector, Kyle Catlett, CJ Wilson, Tonye Patano, Chuck Cooper, Betsy Aidem, and Judy Marte.

The distribution rights for A VIGILANTE are in the hands of Saban Films and DirecTV, and it looks like it has a March 29th release date. The film will be available to watch exclusively on DirecTV for a month, then Saban will be giving it a theatrical release.

A VIGILANTE was produced by Wilde, Lars Knudsen, Ambyr Childers, Allison Rose Carter, Andrew D. Corkin of Uncorked Prods., and Emmett Furla's Randall Emmett and George Furla. Ted Farnsworth, Mitch Lowe, Ted Fox, and Mark Stewart executive produced alongside Thomas Benski and Bryan Reisberg of Pulse Films; The Fyzz Facility's Wayne Marc Godfrey, Robert Jones, Arnaud Lanic, and Babak Eftekhari; and Highland Film Group's Arianne Fraser, Delphine Perrier, and Henry Winterstein.
