Lil Rel Howery joins the cast of Jordan Peele’s Get Out

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

Comedian Jordan Peele is venturing into the horror genre with his directorial debut GET OUT, and he's bringing a fellow comedian along for the ride with him. No, not his Key & Peele partner Michael Key (at least, it hasn't been announced yet that Key is in the cast), but stand-up comedian Lil Rel Howery, who you may know from his co-starring role on The Carmichael Show, his work on the short-lived revival of In Living Color, or his days as a contestant on Last Comic Standing.

No details on Howery's character were revealed.

A Blumhouse production, GET OUT tells the story of

a young African-American man who visits his Caucasian girlfriend’s family estate.

The couple is being played by Daniel Kaluuya and Allison Williams. The cast also includes Catherine Keener and Caleb Landry Jones in unspecified roles.

This extremely secretive project has had me very intrigued ever since it was first announced. I'm looking forward to learning more about it as it continues to develop.
