Judy Greer back to monkeying around in War for the Planet of the Apes

Just as soon as we learned WAR FOR THE PLANET OF THE APES had commenced production we hear that one of the participants in the last APES film will be returning for another go-round. Judy Greer, who was possibly in every movie released this summer, will once again play Cornelia – Caesar’s loyal wife – in Matt Reeves’ film. Cornelia was something of a thankless role for Greer in DAWN OF THE PLANET OF THE APES (as in, why the hell was Judy Greer playing that part?), so perhaps this movie will use her to greater effect.

THR also notes Karin Konoval (pictured below) will return as Maurice, Caesar’s curious, gentle orangutan confidant.

Greer and Konoval join Andy Serkis, Woody Harrelson and Steve Zahn in WAR FOR THE PLANET OF THE APES, which will be released July 14, 2017. Plot details are scant, but the title gives us a clue as to what we can expect.
