Slasher Lumberjack Man to be one of the 8 Films to Die For

Last Updated on July 22, 2021

We now know half of the movies that will make up After Dark Films' revival of the 8 Films to Die For brand, as director Josh Bear's comedic slasher LUMBERJACK MAN has joined RE-KILL, MURDER IN THE DARK, and THE WICKED WITHIN in the lineup.

Written by Ed Kuehnel and Matt Entin from a story by Bear and producer Bill Muehl, LUMBERJACK MAN attemps to create a new horror icon with the following story:

As the staff of Good Friends Church Camp prepares for a spring break filled with "Fun Under the Son", a demon logger rises from his sap boiler to wreak his vengeance and feast on flapjacks soaked in the blood of his victims.

Michael Madsen stars with Alex Dobrenko, Ciara Flynn, Chase Joliet, and Adam Sessler.

The trailer and poster for LUMBERJACK MAN can be seen below, and the movie looks like a really good time to me. As a devoted slasher fan, this is definitely the "Film to Die For" that I'm looking forward to the most so far.

All 8 Films to Die For will be invading theatres on October 16th.
