Exclusive: Unwind with twisted new clip from Unnatural (8 Films To Die For)

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

With 17 days and counting until All Hallows Eve, here's a little treat for you to feast upon. We have an exclusive new look at UNNATURAL, the 6th entry in the revamped 8 Films To Die For release platform from After Dark. Scope that shite underneath!

Directed by Hank Braxtan from a script by Ron Carlson and Arch Stanton – UNNATURAL finds:

A morally ambiguous corporation experiments with genetic modification resulting in the creation of a man-hunting creature. When it escapes, a group of unsuspecting cabin dwellers become its prey in a horrifying game of cat and mouse.

The film stars James Remar (Dexter), Sherilyn Fenn (Rude Awakening), Graham Greene (The Green Mile), Stephanie Hodes (Life Blood), Q'orianka Kilcher (The New World), Ivana Korab (If You Only Knew), Ray Wise (RoboCop), and Allegra Carpenter (The Fault in Our Stars).

About the film, director Braxtan said this:

"I really tried to take an old school approach to the movie…we shot on anamorphic lenses, and I tried to do every gag, kill, and effect in camera. Our bear is a real animatronic monster, made by masters of the craft, so what you see on screen is really there. It was a challenge, as it always is with practicals, but that's the magic of filmmaking."

'8 Films to Die For' will be released in theaters on October 16, 2015, with Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment handling all ancillary forms of media, including Digital HD;, DVD and VOD.
