People truly love the shit out of this show, that or they love to make fun of it. Either way, a lot of people watch it. The sequel, SHARKNADO 2: THE SECOND ONE, drew in an impressive 3.9 million viewers in July 2014, making it Syfy's most-watched original movie ever. These numbers were up 180 percent versus the 2013 premiere of the original SHARKNADO, which scored an audience of 1.4 million viewers.
