Here’s the trailer for “Hong Kong giallo” RED NIGHTS, which definitely looks like a twisted good time. Combining Asian gangster thriller with bloody Italian horror flick, the movie comes from Belgian filmmakers Julien Carbon and Laurent Courtiaud; it’s definitely a multicultural adventure in depravity!

Though it was made back in 2010, it’s finally getting a stateside DVD release for Halloween, so this is as good a time as any to make you aware of it.

Starring Frédérique Bel and Carrie Ng, the film’s breaks down like this:

There is a legend of an executioner who created a poison which brought death through absolute pleasure. This legends repeats today when a French woman flees to Hong Kong after killing her lover and stealing an old artifact containing this poison from him. She meets a mobster from Taiwan and a sadistic woman killer who all want to get the precious poison.

RED NIGHTS hits DVD on October 21st.
