Back in November last year we got word that the classic fan favorite series "Monsters" would be making its way to DVD this year and today we've got the cover art and details to share with ya.

We all grew up with and love the classic shows "Tales From the Darkside", "The Twilight Zone" and "Tales from the Crypt", but there was another show that was a fan favorite in the late 80's and early 90's that is fondly remembered by many, and that was the syndicated horror anthology series "Monsters", from "Tales from the Darkside" producer Richard P. Rubinstein. Now the cult-fave anthology TV series that showcased a new creature every week is coming to disc at last in a Complete Series boxed set titled "Monsters: The Complete Series", and we've got some info on the release for ya below!

Entertainment One will release "Monsters: The Complete Series" on February 25. The nine-DVD set will contain all 72 episodes of the show, which was originally syndicated from 1988-91 and has since enjoyed repeats on the Syfy and Chiller channels.

Executive-produced by Laurel Entertainment’s Richard P. Rubinstein, who was also behind TALES FROM THE DARKSIDE and several George A. Romero films, "Monsters" features actors like Lili Taylor, Steve Buscemi, Pam Grier, John Saxon, Debbie Harry, Tony Shalhoub, Adrienne Barbeau, Gina Gershon, Ashley Laurence, Jerry Stiller, Mary Woronov, Darren McGavin, Laraine Newman, Frank Gorshin and Meat Loaf and includes adaptations of such authors as Stephen King and Robert Bloch.

Across 72 episodes of this 9-disc collectors’ set, Emmy and Academy Award-winning make-up effects artist Dick Smith (The Exorcist, The Godfather, Amadeus) brings to life the monsters that nightmares are made of – from the gruesome and grotesque to mutations beyond your wildest dreams, Monsters’ horrifying creatures haunt each of the modern-day fables of fear and stories of unearthly terror that comprise the suspenseful cult-classic series. Monsters features adaptations by horror masters Stephen King and Robert Bloch and includes an enviable cast of guest stars, including Steve Buscemi (Boardwalk Empire), Lily Taylor (The Conjuring), Chris Noth (Sex and the City), Deborah Harry (Blondie) and many more!
