Guillermo Del Toro’s PACIFIC RIM viral marketing has really been heating up this past week. On top of the disaster video and robot blueprints that have dropped, we now have a fifth schematic. Presenting the Chinese variation of the monster-fighting Jaegers, Crimson Typhoon. Fittingly uncovered by Yahoo! Movies Hong Kong, the multi-armed ‘bot looks like its primed to tear Kaiju sh*t up.
PACIFIC RIM stars Charlie Hunnam, Rinko Kikuchi (pictured below), Idris Elba, Ron Perlman, and Charlie Day. It doesn’t hit theaters until July 12 but will likely get a major marketing push this holiday season.
