Having a bona fide soft spot for Tobe Hooper’s utter sleaze reel EATEN ALIVE, we though what better way to kick off the weekend by taking trip back to 1977, grind-house style. Below you’ll find two scum-drenched original TV spots for Hooper’s TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE follow up, which, as hard as it is to believe, may actually ratchet the filth and perversion. Can’t echo it loud enough, we LOVE EATEN ALIVE around here! If you don’t yet, perhaps these spots will help you discover a somewhat forgotten classic!

Written by CHAINSAW’S Kim Henkel – EATEN ALIVE centers on a psychotic redneck who owns a dilapidated hotel in rural East Texas and kills various people who upset him or his business, and he feeds their bodies to a large crocodile that he keeps as a pet in the swamp beside his hotel.

Bon Appetite!
