Alex Proyas to adapt Daniel Wilson’s sci-fi thriller Amped to the big-screen

Earlier today, we told you about Wally Pfister (best name ever btw) surfing such waters in TRANSCENDENCE, and now it seems Alex Proyas (THE CROW, DARK CITY) is doing likewise for Working Title. Y’all ready to get AMPED!

Based on ROBOPOCALYPSE author Daniel H. Wilson’s bestseller of the same name:

Sounds like well traveled territory for Proyas, which could prove good or bad. His movies seem to have gotten worse over the years. You think this Wilson fella, a bright up and comer, might just be just the inspiration Proyas needs to get back to the halcyon days? Or would you rather see TRANSCENDENCE?
