With news flooding in at a rapid pace today, we’re lumping similar types of news into singular articles. Here’s some quick home release news for ya…

Fox Home Entertainment has announced the DVD/Blu-ray release of HOUSE AT THE END OF THE STREET, a movie of mediocrity in the eyes of AITH. The flick will shelf January 8, 2013. As a selling point, they’re calling this the Unrated Cut, promising “a shocking added twist you didn’t see in theaters!” I ain’t buying it.

Are you, the disc I mean? If so, do so early HERE and HERE.

Next up is Wes Craven’s DEADLY BLESSING, getting its first DVD & Blu-ray Collector’s Edition release ever from Scream Factory. It’s slated to hit shelves January 22, 2013. I recall our Podcast screw checking this out recently and not digging it too much, but hey, 1981 Sharon Stone…in Blu-ray? Could be something.

Available for the first time on Blu-ray and DVD, DEADLY BLESSING Collector’s Edition contains a collectible cover featuring newly rendered retro-style artwork, a reversible wrap with original theatrical key art, new extras and more!

To pre-order the DEADLY BLESSING Collector’s Edition Blu-ray, do so HERE.

So, come the new year, which flick will you be scooping up on DVD/Blu? HATES or DEADLY BLESSING?
