From one Katee Sackhoff romp to another…

Moments after writing about the cast additions for Sackhoff’s OCULUS, word has just flown in that the tough blonde will join Gina Carano in the all-female EXPENDABLES-like action flick for Adi Shankar. Carano and Sackhoff? Talk about a lethal combo!

Here’s what Shankar, producing for 1984 Private Defense Contractors, said about the addition:

“If you spend five minutes with Katee it becomes blatantly obvious that she would own (sic) most male action stars.”

Own indeed. Sackhoff (pictured) continues the heater…having this, OCULUS, RIDDICK and THE HAUNTING IN GEORGIA all in various stages of production. Definitely a new femme genre icon for years to come!

As for the EXPENDABLES type flick, Dutch Southern is penning the script without a director or title ascribed. Female action stars are still being courted…so let’s help Shankar and levy some more names. Zoe Saldana is obvious. Maggie Q. Michelle Rodriguez. Hell, Alice Braga. Keep that shite exotic though, whomever chosen!
