From the director of AUTOMATON TRANSFUSION and SCREAM OF THE BANSHEE, Steven C. Miller, comes THE AGGRESSION SCALE, an 80s-influenced action-suspense flick that will be making its premiere at the SXSW Film Festival next month. The production team behind the thriller was kind enough to send us an exclusive image from the film, which you can see above. (Click it to see a bigger version.)

While the movie has been a bit secretive with its plot, IMDB offers this up: Four heavily armed hitmen and two unusual teenagers go to war over $500,000 of stolen cash.

It stars Fabianne Therese (JOHN DIES AT THE END), Ryan Hartwig (THE THOMPSONS), Dana Ashbrook (TWIN PEAKS), Derek Mears (FRIDAY THE 13th reboot), Jacob Reynolds (GUMMO), Joseph McKelheer (THE HAMILTONS) and Ray Wise. It was directed and edited by Steven C Miller, written by Ben Powell and produced by Travis Stevens of Snowfort Pictures (A HORRIBLE WAY TO DIE) and Joe McKelheer and Eben Kostbar of Film Harvest (FREE SAMPLES).

For ticket info on THE AGGRESSION SCALE’s SXSW midnight screening, keep an eye on the fest’s official site.
