Happy 2012 all you AITH readers! I hope you all had a great weekend and brought in the New Year with happy faces! Well it is now Monday and the second day of the year, which means lets talk some Box Office!

The weekend took in some decent numbers considering it was the New Years weekend, and MISSION IMPOSSIBLE: GHOST PROTOCOL was number 1. It isn’t hard to see why, the film is an absolute blast and certainly deserves to be making some $$$. SHERLOCK HOLMES: A GAME OF SHADOWS took to second place and our genre film THE GIRL WITH THE DRAGON TATTOO finished at number five.

This Friday will see the release of THE DEVIL INSIDE and in limited release BENEATH THE DARKNESS. Both are films we’ve been keeping our eyes on, so it’ll be interesting to see how they perform.
