We’ve shown you the classic artwork that has been showing up for the film (here, here and here), and we suspected it was only a matter of time before we’d get a trailer. Nice timing as it debuted at the end of the month to scare the pants off you! I love the look of this film, the trailer is so affective, and I really can’t wait to check this out. Ti West is such a fan of the 70’s/80’s genre films, and he really took that to new levels with THE HOUSE OF THE EVIL and this looks to keep that same spirit alive. Bring it on I say!
Synopsis – After over one hundred years of service, The Yankee Pedlar Inn is shutting its doors for good. The last remaining employees -Claire and Luke – are determined to uncover proof of what many believe to be one of New England’s most haunted hotels. As the Inn’s final days draw near, odd guests check in as the pair of minimum wage “ghost hunters” begin to experience strange and alarming events that may ultimately cause them to be mere footnotes in the hotel’s long unexplained history.
Look for this bad boy on VOD December 30th and then theaters next year on February 3rd.
