Here is an intense, rainy and exclusive clip for Colm McCarthy’s creature feature OUTCAST. It looks like a damn fine thrill ride from the UK, with enough meat to pack a solid punch.
The film will finally be widely available for US audiences, as it hits VOD next Tuesday the 30th. I know you like the sound of this one, and the clip should certainly get your juices flowing.
Synopsis –It tells the tale of Petronella (a Scottish/Romany girl) and Fergal (her mysterious Irish traveller boyfriend). As their doomed relationship plays out, a Beast stalks the estate, killing locals, working its way towards our protagonists.
Meanwhile Cathal and Liam, two mysterious travellers from Ireland use ritual and magic on a blood hunt. Mary, Fergal’s mother performs ritual and magic of her own. As Cathal comes face to face with Mary in a vicious finale we know one thing: the Beast must die.
Colm McCarthy as well as directed, wrote the screenplay with Tom K. McCarthy. It stars James Nesbitt, Kate Dickie, Niall Bruton, Hanna Stanbridge and Ciaran McNenamin.
