SFX guru Gregory Nicotero talks first zombie from The Walking Dead Season 2

Do you remember the first picture from the second season of “THE WALKING DEAD” that we showed to you last month? In case you forgot, you can refresh your memory above. Well you can get an even better look at her in the latest behind the scenes video below, which features special makeup effects supervisor Greg Nicotero explaining why she was chosen.

Series showrunner Frank Darabont returns with Glen Mazzara serving as writing executive producer. The cast includes Andrew Lincoln, Jon Bernthal, Sarah Wayne Callies, Laurie Holden (below), Jeffrey DeMunn, Steven Yeun and Chandler Riggs, along with new additions Scott Wilson and Lauren Cohan.

The high anticipated second season of the hit show will shamble its way back onto AMC in October with thirteen new episodes.
