Not really sure what these infographic posters are all about, as the first one I’ve seen came a couple weeks back for SOURCE CODE, but at seems they’re gaining steam. Today, we have infographic posters for two films. SCREAM 4 and RISE OF THE PLANET OF THE APES.
For the SCREAM 4 poster, an elaborate cheat-sheet of sorts has been put together, offering all the different “rules” of the franchise. I particularly like the body counts included for each film.
And courtesy of IGN, a RISE OF THE PLANET OF THE APES infographic has been dished out, and it shows a kind of evolution of the apes involved. It’s also deemed a cheat-sheet, but for what I have no real idea.
In theaters today, SCREAM 4 resumes the tale of Sidney Prescott, now the author of a self-help book, returns home to Woodsboro on the last stop of her book tour. There she reconnects with Sheriff Dewey and Gale, who are now married, as well as her cousin Jill and her Aunt Kate. Unfortunately Sidney’s appearance also brings about the return of Ghostface, putting Sidney, Gale, and Dewey, along with Jill, her friends, and the whole town of Woodsboro in danger.
In theaters August 5th, RISE OF THE PLANET OF THE APES is set in present day San Francisco, the film is a reality-based cautionary tale, a science fiction/science fact blend, where man’s own experiments with genetic engineering lead to the development of intelligence in apes and the onset of a war for supremacy.
