Good grief, it’s been far too long since hearing a peep from the HOUSE AT THE END OF THE STREET. A shame really, given the film not only stars my girl Elisabeth Shue (seen right), but new it-girl and Oscar nominated actress Jennifer Lawrence (below). Where’s the love been?
Wherever it’s been, Relativity Media has captured and bottled said love, snagging the U.S. rights to HOUSE AT THE END OF THE STREET. No release date has been set, but at least we know the flick hasn’t been shelved to collect dust somewhere in obscurity.
Directed by Mark Tonderai (HUSH) and written by David Loucka (DREAM HOUSE), HOUSE AT THE END OF THE STREET is about a mother (Shue) and daughter (Lawrence) who move into a new community and find themselves next door to a house in which a psychotic young girl murdered her parents. While the locals insist the girl vanished after the brutal murders, the young newcomer befriends the surviving son (Max Theriot) and discovers the sinister story is far from over.
Gil Bellows, Nolan Gerard Funk, Jonathan Malen, Will Bowes, Jordan Hayes, Allie MacDonald and Claudia Jurt all lend support.
Keep it close for word on when you can walk into HOUSE AT THE END OF THE STREET.
