Hey, remember that movie SPIDERS 3D I told you about four months ago? Yeah, me neither, but I guess it’s still coming to pass, as some casting news has come to our attention – via IMDB.
Patrick Muldoon (STARSHIP TROOPERS), Christa Campbell (DRIVE ANGRY 3D), Johnny Yong Bosch (INSIDIOUS) and William Hope (ALIENS) are all in the Tibor Takács flick, which is being made by Nu Image Films (THE EXPENDABLES).
The thought-provoking synopsis: Following a crash of an old Soviet space station in New York City’s subway tunnel, a new species of poisonous spiders is discovered. Inadvertently the spiders mutate to gigantic proportions and wreak havoc on the entire city.
As I wrote back in October, this movie is absolutely destined to air on the Syfy channel at one point, so I don’t know if the 3D in this case is to be taken seriously. (Do you envision this being released nationwide?) It would appears as though this one is already in the can, so it’s now just a matter of waiting to see what happens with it.
