Just the other day we slapped up the first official photo from Joe Carnahan’s wilderness thriller THE GREY; now, thanks to the majesty of Twitter, I’ve stumbled upon some behind-the-scenes photos from the flick, all of which come via actor Frank Grillo’s account. Grillo (who will be seen in the upcoming MOTHER’S DAY remake) has been making like an amateur photographer and snapping some lovely pics from the film’s Vancouver locale. (No wolves just yet, but I’m sure they’re waiting in the wings…)

THE GREY follows a group of roughnecks left stranded by a plane crash right in the hunting zone of a pack of rogue wolves on the frozen Alaskan tundra.

The movie stars Liam Neeson (pictured above with Grillo) Dallas Roberts, James Badge Dale, Dermot Mulroney, Nonso Anozie, and Joe Anderson. No release date has been set yet.

To keep an eye out for more pics, hit up Grillo’s Twitter page.
