One curious flick coming out later this year is Universal’s DREAM HOUSE; it’s got a top-notch cast including Daniel Craig, Rachel Weisz and Naomi Watts and a prestigious director in Jim Sheridan (MY LEFT FOOT, IN THE NAME OF THE FATHER). It also seemingly had some issues that needed resolving with reshoots and a release date change – not to mention the fact that it might have broken up Rachel Weisz and Darren Aronofsky’s marriage. (Weisz and Craig are reportedly tooling around together.)

In any event, here’s your first look at the flick. Craig and Weisz are staring at their kid like she just shit the floor, so there must be something afoot in this so-called dream house. We’ll find out what’s what when it’s released on SEPTEMBER 30th.

Synopsis: A couple (Craig and Weisz) relocate their family to a quaint New England town. But as they settle into their new life, they discover their perfect home was the murder scene of a mother and her children. And the entire city believes it was at the hands of the husband, who survived. When Will investigates the tragedy, his only lead comes from Ann Paterson (Naomi Watts), a neighbor who was close to the family that died. As Will and Ann piece together the disturbing puzzle, they discover that the story of the last man to leave Will’s dream house will be just as horrifying to the one who came next.
