Is Scream 4 going back to Michigan for re-shoots? Plus, 2 high-res pics!

The site On Location Vacations, which tracks which productions are shooting where, and when, has an interesting little blurb about a project called “Z” set to film in Northville, MI on JANUARY 31st and FEBRUARY 2nd. What’s “Z”? Well, apparently it’s the fake name SCREAM 4 utilized during its production in Michigan last year. So it would appear as though some additional footage is required to make the highly-anticipated sequel whole…

Re-shoots are pretty common on studio features, so this isn’t necessarily a bad thing. And, as it only seems to be for a couple of days, the film is probably just nabbing some pick-up shots; it’s not likely they’re filming a brand new sequence or re-doing the ending or anything else to make fans of the series paranoid that the movie is in huge trouble…

That said, you never really know…

In addition to this news, we’ve got a couple of high-res images from the film for ya. Yes, you’ve seen them already, but these are high-res, dammit! Click on them to see the larger versions.
