Francis Ford Coppola’s Twixt Now and Sunrise to feature 3D sequence?

It’s hard to not be interested in Francis Ford Coppola’s new project, a gothic horror number called TWIXT NOW AND SUNRISE. Maybe it’s because the man behind some of the 70s’ best films is fully in “indie” mode lately, doing the small, weird arthouse flicks he always wanted to. Throw some horror into the mix, as well as crazy old Val Kilmer, and you’ve got a film worth seeing… hopefully.

With the new information uncovered by the site The 99%, I’m now even more curious about TWIXT. In a brief intro to an interview they’ve conducted with Coppola, the site notes that TWIXT will feature “the latest 3-D technology – but as a brief dramatic segment that serves the story, rather than the typical two-hour, multiplex gimmick.”

Intriguing. Perhaps it’s a dream sequence – or better yet, a scare sequence. Would love to know more about this, but I guess we’ll have to wait until fall of next year, which is when Coppola reckons the film will come out.

In addition to Kilmer, TWIXT NOW AND SUNRISE stars Elle Fanning, Joanne Whalley, Bruce Dern, Ben Chaplin, Don Novello, David Paymer and Alden Erenreich
