One could argue Bill Moseley’s work in THE DEVIL’S REJECTS (and HOUSE OF 1000 CORPSES, I suppose) was perfect preparation to play Charles Manson, one of the most notorious serial killers this country has ever seen. Apparently Susanna Lo felt similar, as she just cast him to play the notorious maniac in her new flick MANSON GIRLS. Sounds hot, right?!?
Dime is dropped from those Bloody-D ghouls, who also shared the film is set to lens in L.A. this March (as well as San Francisco and Berkeley). Also worth noting is Thora Birch’s departure from the cast. Okay, maybe not!
Here’s what the film entails:
The picture follows a young girl from a wealthy Malibu family who fell under Manson’s spell. She was not one the “Family” members involved in the clan’s infamous murder spree, but Pitman was later imprisoned after she became involved with the Aryan Brotherhood and was convicted of being an accessory (after the fact) to murder.
Eric Balfour, Monica Keena, Laura Harring (below), Heather Matarazzo, Estelle Warren, Brit Morgan, Jennifer Landon, Tania Raymonde, Stella Maeve, Chad Furst, Patti D’Arbanbville and Michael Monks are also part of the cast.
Hopefully we’ll see the MANSON GIRLS before 2011 runs out…until then, keep it here for further updates, and/or give the films Official Site a look.
