Y’all a fan of Josef Rusnak’s 1999 flick THE THIRTEENTH FLOOR?
If you are, some interesting news has come out of The Hollywood Reporter this evening. Rusnak is setting up a new thriller for the Crystal Edge wing of Crystal Sky Pictures. The film is called BEYOND, and is set to star Teri Polo (below) and Dermot Mulroney (right), who join Julian Morris and Jon Voight. Pretty decent cast for a modestly budgeted genre flick, ay?
Currently filming in Alaska, under a $10 million budget, BEYOND revolves around a veteran detective and a shady TV psychic who doggedly track down a missing girl. Polo will play mother to the missing child, and daughter of Voight’s character.
BEYOND marks the third film for Rusnak this year (although this surely won’t release in the next two weeks), behind SMALL LIGHTS and PERFECT LIFE. He also remade Larry Cohen’s IT’S ALIVE in 2008.
