Back in March we brought you a nifty trailer for a little French item called IN THEIR SLEEP, starring Anne Parillaud, Arthur Dupont, Thierry Frémont and Jean-Hugues Anglade. Looking good but completely in its native language without subtitles, most of us didn’t understand what the hell was going on. Well now we do!

IFC has just handed us their trailer for the flick, which you can peep below. The voiceover is, admittedly, really cheesy, but that doesn’t stop the movie’s appeal from breaking through.

IN THEIR SLEEP follows a mourning mother after the brutal death of her 18 year-old son. Sarah’s life is in pieces. When late one night, her car accidentally hits Arthur, a young man the same age as her boy, who suddenly emerges out of the forest and onto the road, Sarah sympathizes with him, taking him in, only to be tracked down by the burglar whose murderous rage towards Arthur forces her to take action. Unbeknownst to Sarah, things aren’t quite the way they seem… but by the time she finally realizes, it is too late to turn back.

IN THEIR SLEEP
opens this Friday at the IFC Center in New York. Additional late night engagements will follow nationally. It is now playing nationwide on demand from IFC Midnight, available via Comcast, Cox, Cablevision, Time Warner, and Bright House.
