We haven’t heard much on the SHERWOOD HORROR front in a dog’s age. In fact, our last article about it came in June. But the revisionist take on the Robin Hood legend keeps on kicking, and today we’ve got our most alluring update on it yet.

Albanian actress Alma Saraci (pictured) has come aboard John Regan’s film in the (evidently hot) role of Maid Marian. In Regan’s vision, Marian, an elitist vampire, is taken hostage by Rob Locksley and his companions and begins to see Rob as someone worthy of being by her side.

To make sense of that, check out the synopsis:
Ex-con Rob Locksley returns home after a six-year absence to find his town under the rule of vampires. He must join forces with his old roughneck hunting buddies to wage war against the evil Sheriff and his horde of blood-sucking minions.

Saraci joins a cast that includes DJ Perry, Bill McKinney, Taymour Ghazi, Terry Jernigan, Mike Powers, Paul Proios & Austin Two-Feathers. Principal photography is expected to commence in Virginia in 2011. DJ Perry will produce under his production outfit Collective Development Inc.
