So impressed we were with the teaser for Fritz Manger’s found footage slasher joint RE-CUT…we’re back with an encore!

That’s right gang, yesterday the teaser…today the full-length trailer. While I do think the first look was a tad eerier, this one definitely hikes the whole “reality-show-snuff-film” aspect of the narrative. Also, it has a powerful dirge from the Man in Black himself, Mr. Johnny Cash. Not sure how official this trailer will be (I’d imagine rights to that song alone might be comparable to the flick’s budget), but it’s certainly effective.

Starring Ross Kohn, Austin Basis, Tim De Zarn, Jeff Kober, Richard Trapp and Christopher Redman – RE-CUT commences:

When twin girls are found dead in their family’s barn, reality star turned TV-reporter Meredith Phillips (below) and her de-facto camera crew are dispatched to rural Wisconsin to investigate the gruesome deaths.

In their relentless drive to break the story, the reporters become entangled in a deadly mystery and uncover the small town’s shocking secret.

Edited together from the crew’s multiple cameras, the film documents their struggle to survive the most terrifying night of their lives and becomes the only evidence of a crime too horrific to imagine.

Enjoy!
