Creepy music. Dead twin girls. A gory corpse suspended from a ceiling. Yup, I’m sold!

A teaser-trailer for Fritz Manger’s impressive looking feature debut RE-CUT, a “found footage” slasher joint, has just fell at our feet. I gotta say, this one is definitely worth giving a go. With an eerily slow build up to a fast-edited bloodbath…there’s something about the grainy home video aspect that rings truly disturbing.

Co-written with Fritz by Dylan Manger (brother, perhaps), RE-CUT shapes up:

When twin girls are found dead in their family’s barn, reality star turned TV-reporter Meredith Phillips and her de-facto camera crew are dispatched to rural Wisconsin to investigate the gruesome deaths.

In their relentless drive to break the story, the reporters become entangled in a deadly mystery and uncover the small town’s shocking secret.

Edited together from the crew’s multiple cameras, the film documents their struggle to survive the most terrifying night of their lives and becomes the only evidence of a crime too horrific to imagine.

Ross Kohn, Austin Basis, Tim De Zarn, Jeff Kober, Richard Trapp (Dick Trapp?) and Christopher Redman help level out the cast.
