Yesterday we extolled the virtues of holiday horror with a trailer for the Dutch killer Santa flick SINT, and today we’re back for an encore!

Y’all recall the title RARE EXPORTS: A CHRISTMAS TALE? Sure ya do…hell, Mo threw out a litany of theaters where you can scope the damn thing just the other day. Now, as the yuletide season abounds…a new domestic trailer for the Finnish chiller has been put forth, and we’ve got it for your busy little buggers underneath.

From writer/director Jalmari Helander, RARE EXPORTS commences:

On Christmas Eve in Finland, as Santa Claus is unearthed in an archaeological dig. This leads to the disappearance of the town’s children, and when a boy and his father come into possession of Santa, the father’s clan of hunters try to cash in by selling Santa back to the misguided leader of the corporation that sponsored the dig. It’s rough sledding from there.

Tommi Korpela, Per Christian Ellefsen, Jorma Tommila and Jonathan Hutchings are a few of the principal players.
