New clip from Buried has Ryan Reynolds scrambling to leave a message

Our daily dose of BURIED goodies continues, and this time it ain’t another f*ckin’ poster!

Nope. This time we’ve got an actual clip from the claustrophobic chiller, one in which Ryan Reynolds’ character feverishly scrambles to leave a message of help via his dying cell phone. Put simply: it’s a million dollars or death…

Even in small sampling, you can tell how dialed in Reynolds is. The clip is suspenseful and believable, you actually feel for this schmuck a little bit. Quite a walk from doing mawkish Sandy Bullock pictures, ay Ry?

Once again,

Paul Conroy isn’t ready to die.

But when he wakes up 6 feet underground with no idea of who put him there or why, life for the truck driver and family man instantly becomes a hellish struggle for survival. Buried with only a cell phone and a lighter, his contact with the outside world and ability to piece together clues that could help him discover his location are maddeningly limited. Poor reception, a rapidly draining battery , and a dwindling oxygen supply become his worst enemies in a tightly confined race against time- fighting panic, despair and delirium, Paul has only 90 minutes to be rescued before his worst nightmare comes true.
