So what do you cats make of this film LOOPER?

You know, Rian Johnson’s third feature behind BRICK and THE BROTHERS BLOOM. The one set to star Bruce Willis and Joseph Gordon-Levitt in futuristic story about assassins moving back and forth in time. Shite sounds pretty legit, right?

Well, rumor has it Emily Blunt (pictured) may be set to launch into orbit with the aforementioned fellas. Word comes from Production Weekly’s Twitter feed, in a missive that reads:

“Emily Blunt rumored to join Joseph Gordon-Levitt & Bruce Willis in the Rian Johnson (@rcjohnso) time travel thriller ‘Looper’.”

As you can see, no detail regarding Blunt’s potential character is given, nor is her involvement substantiated. However, seeing how Blunt has three features currently in post, with only one other currently filming, her schedule may definitely be open come January, when LOOPER is reported to begin filming.

LOOPER is a science fiction thriller is set during a future in which time travel has been invented, with operatives (loopers) sent back to the present to assassinate criminals. Gordon-Levitt will play a man sent back to kill himself.
