On Friday we brought to your attention the fact that young Emily Alyn Lind had joined the cast of THE HAUNTING IN GEORGIA, the first to do so. Now, according to the Bloody Disgusting gents, another name has been added, and a much more familiar one too.

Chad Michael Murray, he of the “One Tree Hill”, has apparently landed the lead role in the flick, which is a pseudo follow-up to the modestly successful HAUNTING IN CONNECTICUT. Murray will be playing one half of a couple who discover that their daughter is communicating with ghostly residents in their new house.

Murray fought off more visceral horrors in the HOUSE OF WAX remake, but his real nightmare comes every week, when Ammon Gilbert sends him fanmail composed with newspaper clippings. (Yes, Ammon’s a bigtime “One Tree Hill” fan.)

Shortly after moving into their ideal new home, a couple grows concerned when their young daughter begins encountering mysterious strangers that no one else can see. The couple’s greatest fear is realized when they themselves begin to witness terrifying phenomena in and around the house, providing clues that could unlock a chilling mystery that has remained a closely guarded secret for generations.
