I think when it was revealed that Kristen Bell will have a cameo in SCREAM 4, almost everyone assumed that the blonde would be getting killed off in the film’s opening minutes (I know I did). Kind of odd for an actress of her stature to just jump aboard a big film that already has its main cast established…

The “Veronica Mars” actress spoke to Parade.com about her role in the flick, and revealed… next to nothing. She initially confirms that she’s in it, I guess that’s something: “I am in the movie, I will say that. I don’t know if I can say much more than that but it’s a really, really fun movie and everyone loves it as much as they did the first one.”

That said, when the question of whether or not she’d be in the “Drew Barrymore role” arose, Bell went a teeny bit further: “It doesn’t go down like you think it does. But it was fun doing it, that’s what I’ll say. I loved being a part of the movie.”

“Doesn’t go down like you think it does”. Make of that what you will. We’ll find out for sure on APRIL 15, 2011, when SCREAM 4 is released.
