Robert Rodriguez’s MACHETE swings into theaters a week from today (September 3rd), so to put a little global panache on his likely-to-offend send up, not only have a pair of new international posters for the flick been stretched and propped, IGN has a slick little red-band clip from the joint as well. Get a gander at the Mexican madness underneath!

The first poster, which offers the familiar image of Trejo flashing to reveal a bevy of blades on his person, also shows De Niro, Alba and Rodriguez…all packing heat.

The second shows the same, but adds Seagal with his trusty samurai sword, as well as Lindsay Lohan fellating a f*ckin’ hand cannon. In other words, just another day in the life of a spoiled Hollywood brat.

The clip, however, is a different breed altogether. Not only do we get to see the sexy Avellan twins, we get to see Machete lay waste to a whole corridor of bad guys, stopping nowhere short of disemboweling a man’s intestines and then using them as a bungee cord. I shite you not!

The highly skilled Federale MACHETE is hired by some unsavory types to assassinate a senator. But just as he’s about to take the shot, he notices someone aiming at him and realizes he’s been set up. He barely survives the sniper’s bullet, and is soon out for revenge on his former employers, with the reluctant assistance of his old friend Cheech Marin, who has become a priest and taken a vow of nonviolence. If you hire him to take out the bad guys, make sure the bad guys aren’t you!

Next Friday y’all!
