HOSTEL III has nabbed its first actor/potential victim in the form of Kip Pardue. You may recognize the actor from such flicks as THE RULES OF ATTRACTION, DRIVEN and THE WIZARD OF GORE (terrible movie, that).

Here’s what Variety has to say about the casting: Story revolves around Pardue’s character, who attends his best friend’s Vegas bachelor party with an insidious agenda that plays into the human hunt.

I guess the bachelor party boys will be doing more than just hiring a stripper, eh?

Scott Spiegel (FROM DUSK TILL DAWN 2) is directing, while Chriss Briggs and Mike Fleiss are producing. Eli Roth is listed as a producer, but I spoke to Roth recently and he noted that he has zero involvement in the sequel (look out for that interview soon).

Meanwhile, we’re still awaiting word regarding the rumor that HOSTEL III is going theatrical. I’m not sure, but I do know that I certainly don’t buy the idea that there’s a teaser poster coming in the near future…
