Looks like Colin Farrell is a happy man this evening.

Word out of THR tonight states that Emily Montague (pictured) has been added to the cast of Craig Gillespie’s FRIGHT NIGHT rehash, which he’s currently filming in New Mexico. Montague is portraying a smokin’ hot victim of the vampire played by Farrell, who moves in next door to a teen being played by Anton Yelchin. Apparently the role originally called for a silent performance, but with this casting decision, has since been reworked as a bigger part of Marti Noxon’s script.

Montague, who has a dozen or so big and small screen credits as far back as 2004, also joins Toni Collette, Imogen Poots, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, David Tennant, Dave Franco, Sandra Vergara, Chelsea Tavares, Charlie B. Brown, Asim Ahmad and Cliff Gravel.

Before you give us your impression of the entire cast, not just the addition of Montague, be sure to scope out Matt Withers’ SCRIPT REVIEW OF THE FRIGHT NIGHT REMAKE.

FRIGHT NIGHT opens October 7th, 2011.
