Warner Bros. and Ruben Fleischer in on secret star-driven genre project

This is going to be short and sweet – mostly because there’s so little to know. Heat Vision Blog is reporting that Josh Zetumer, the writer once tapped to adapt DUNE for the modern age, is collaborating with ZOMBIELAND director Ruben Fleischer on an untitled original genre project.

To quote the article, the project is star-driven and has a genre component to it, although it is not sci-fi… Warner Bros. will produce the flick, after buying the pitch in the room. Holy shit, it’s good to be Zetumer right about now…

Fleischer will only serve as executive producer on the film, which is drawing comparisons to INCEPTION in relation to its original idea and approach, which is grounded in reality but with sci-fi elements.

Of course, once we know more about this mysterious project, we’ll let you know.
